She started her career in radio news in 1983 but quickly discovered playing music was infinitely more interesting than attending city council meetings. She's been spinning the country hits since 1984 and her mind is stuffed so full of country music trivia that her head is in constant danger of exploding. Kris is a major NASCAR fan and lists Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Tony Stewart as her favorite drivers. Off the air, Kris is into fine wine, home improvements, gardening, gourmet cooking, web surfing and bargain hunting. She is married and has two cats she considers her "furry children". Echo is a rescued siamese and Tenny the tuxedo came from a local shelter. Kris can't help but talk about their crazy antics on the air.
